SAU played host to the V-Hawks from Viterbo University at St. Vincent's Athletic Complex yesterday evening. Early on, the Bees caught Viterbo on their heels and pinned them in their defensive half but St. Ambrose could not capitalize on the early offensive pressure they applied towards Viterbo. The Bees held the edge at the beginning of the match as they owned the first four shots of the match and the first corner kick. For fifteen straight minutes the Bees put on an absolute clinic but would have nothing to show for it as they dropped the decision 5-0. It was a decisive St. Ambrose team as they held the edge in shots 15-10 but never seemed to find the back of the net.
