Bees extend winning streak to four

Saturday afternoon in Davenport, Iowa, the Bees hosted a conference match against the Benedictine Ravens. Despite trailing in the first quarter, St. Ambrose fought back to win 10-7 to extend its winning streak to four games.

SAU controls Clarke in 20-4 victory

Wednesday night, the Bees traveled to Dubuque, Iowa, to take on Clarke University. St. Ambrose, coming off a dominant conference win in Kansas, looked to keep things rolling and succeeded, beating Clarke in a commanding 20-4 win.

Saturday afternoon, the Bees traveled to Ottawa, Kan., to take on Ottawa University. St. Ambrose carried over the momentum from the last game and dominated with a 27-2 win.

Wednesday night, the Bees traveled to St. Louis, Mo., to take on Missouri Baptist University. SAU battled for all 60 minutes and came out with a 13-9 victory moving to 2-1 in conference play.

St. Ambrose falls short in overtime thriller

Saturday afternoon in Davenport, the Bees battled Columbia College. This competitive conference matchup came down to the wire, but the Bees could not close it out losing 14-13 in overtime.

SAU opens up conference play with big home win

Wednesday afternoon, the Bees had their first conference game of the season on their home field taking on the William Woods Owls. St. Ambrose protected home turf, taking down the Owls 13-9, making the Bees 1-0 in conference.

Bees fall short despite a third-quarter comeback

Saturday afternoon, at neutral site Romeoville, Ill., St. Ambrose fell short to No. 8 Aquinas with a 14-4 loss despite their third-quarter efforts to get back in the game.

SAU falls at Taylor University

The Bees dropped another nonconference match to Taylor University yesterday afternoon. St. Ambrose lost 10-1 in Upland, Ind. This leaves the Bees still in search for their first win of the 2025 campaign.

Second quarter faults hurts SAU

St. Ambrose traveled to No. 4 Indiana Tech yesterday evening and dropped the contest 4-14 after a second quarter the Bees would like to forget. This loss leaves SAU still in search for their first win of the 2025 season.

Six Bees score in loss to Michigan-Dearborn

February 25, 2025

The Bees saw tough competition in their opening weekend of the 2025 campaign as they lost to the University of Michigan-Dearborn yesterday afternoon with a 11-7 loss at St. Vincent's Athletic Complex. Six Bees scored seven goals in the loss for SAU. Freshman Ryan Swanson came away with two goals for the Bees. Lucas Mytych, Zakary Brown, Ayden Fraelle, Cameron Washington, and Eli Hahn each netted a goal for the Bees. This leaves SAU still in search of their first win of the 2025 season.

Bees drop 2025 season-opening campaign to No. 10 Madonna

February 23, 2025

St. Ambrose opened the 2025 campaign with a 13-7 loss to No. 10 ranked Madonna this afternoon at St. Vincent's Athletic Complex. The Bees struggled to keep pace with the Bees in the second half as they were outscored 9-4 which allowed the Crusaders to pull away.

St. Ambrose picked to finish third in Heart preseason poll

St. Ambrose men's lacrosse was picked to finish third in the 2025 Heart of America Athletic Conference preseason poll standings. The Bees were selected to finish in the third-spot behind William Penn (first) and Benedictine (second). SAU garnished 61 votes from the conference.
