Five Bees named to CSC Academic All-District Team

Kylee Claypool, Ellie Downing, Reagan Engberg, Becca Haag and Mady Reed were named to the 2025 Academic All-District NAIA Softball Team as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Boysen and Haag earn all-CCAC First-Team honors; four Bees named to Second Team

St. Ambrose has six named to the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference all-conference teams. Ada Boysen and Becca Haag received first-team honors for pitcher and first base, respectively.
Weather delay slowed the Bees' momentum in CCAC Championship

On Sunday, the Bees advanced to the CCAC Championship game to take on Saint Xavier for the second time over the weekend. The game was suspended in the top of the second inning due to weather and was set to restart on Monday at noon.
Bees start the CCAC Tournament with two wins on day one

St. Ambrose started the CCAC Championship Tournament hot with 9-8 (8 innings) and 3-2 nail-biter wins against Calumet and St. Francis. On day two, they fell to Saint Xavier 6-9. On day three, the Bees clawed their way back with a big 8-2 win against Calumet in the bottom half of the bracket.
Men’s and Women’s Golf named Teams of the Month; McAleer and Haag named Athletes of the Month

Dylan McAleer (men’s golf) and Becca Haag (softball) were selected by the St. Ambrose Sports Information staff as the April Fighting Bees Athletes of the Month.
Spring All-Academic selections released by the CCAC

The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the spring sports All-Academic Teams earlier today. A total of 68 Bees were named to the All-Academic Teams this winter (9 baseball, 4 men's golf, 3 women's golf, 8 softball, 1 men's tennis, 6 women's tennis, 17 men's track and field, 13 women's track and field, and 7 men's volleyball). The St. Ambrose and St. Xavier women's golf teams led the CCAC in the number of All-Academic student-athletes with three student-athletes. Danny Molony, Kylee Claypool, and Ryleigh Warden held a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA.
St. Ambrose to take on Calumet in first round of CCAC Tournament

St. Ambrose will open the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament in Crown Point, Ind. Thanks to a third-place conference finish, SAU will take on Calumet St. Joseph in a first-round matchup Thursday at the Crown Point Sportsplex.

The Bees’ bats were alive in the final four games of the 2025 regular season. On April 24, the team picked up 8-1 and 10-6 wins on the road at Olivet Nazarene. St. Ambrose hosted their final games at home taking 9-7 and 2-0 wins against Indiana University South Bend.
St. Ambrose falls short in a battle with the Mustangs

The St. Ambrose softball team put up a fight in a close match up at Mount Mercy Wednesday afternoon, ending in a 2-3 score. Game two was canceled in the third inning due to impending weather.
Fighting Bees named as NAIA Scholar-Athletes

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2025 Daktroncis NAIA Scholar-Athletes awards earlier today. Of the winter student-athletes at St. Ambrose, 66 (3 men's basketball, 4 women's basketball, 6 competitive cheer, 11 competitive dance, 25 men's swimming and diving, 12 women's swimming and diving, and 5 men's wrestling) were named NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
Bees split conference doubleheader with St. Francis

The Bees went 2-6 in game one and 9-1 in five innings in game two. St. Ambrose bats bounced back in game two with six hits scattered amongst four batters.

Bees sweep the Eagles in conference doubleheader

The Bees had a stellar trip to Elgin, Ill. To take on the Judson Eagles. Amassing 23 hits and 15 RBIs as a team, St. Ambrose defeated Judson with final scores of 7-6 and 9-0 (five innings).
