Men's and women's basketball All-Academic selections released by the CCAC

The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the winter sports All-Academic Teams earlier today. A total of 15 Bees were named to the All-Academic Teams this winter (9 men's basketball and 6 women's basketball). The St. Ambrose and St. Francis men's basketball teams led the CCAC in the number of All-Academic student-athletes with nine student-athletes. On the women's side, Abby Wolter held a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA.
Fighting Bees named as NAIA Scholar-Athletes

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2025 Daktroncis NAIA Scholar-Athletes awards earlier today. Of the winter student-athletes at St. Ambrose, 66 (3 men's basketball, 4 women's basketball, 6 competitive cheer, 11 competitive dance, 25 men's swimming and diving, 12 women's swimming and diving, and 5 men's wrestling) were named NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
St. Ambrose named USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

St. Ambrose was named an All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The women's program had a cumulative team GPA of 3.613 and the men's team had a GPA of 3.381.
Guerra and Knoche named Athletes of the Month; Men's Basketball selected as Team of the Month

Gille joins St. Ambrose University's coaching staff

Mike Gille was announced as the Track and Field and Cross Country's newest coaching addition. Gille will take on the assistant coach role, primarily serving the distance and mid-distance runners of both programs. He will also serve as the recruiting coordinator.
SAU men, women finish fourth at season-opening Twilight Invite

The St. Ambrose cross country team opened its season by placing fourth at the Twilight Invitational hosted by St. Francis at Channahon Park in Channahon, Ill., Friday evening. The men's race featured 11 complete teams while the women's included 10 teams.
