Knoche to represent SAU at NAIA Championships

For the second straight year, Kaitlyn Knoche will represent St. Ambrose at the NAIA Cross Country Championships.
The Bee sophomore earned a return trip to Nationals by setting a 6K school record at the CCAC Championships with a time of 22:24.9. That was good for fourth place at the event hosted by SAU at Crow Creek Park in Bettendorf, Iowa.
At last year's NAIA Championships, Knoche finished 234th among more than 330 runners, posting a time of 24:48 at Fort Vancouver National Historic Championship Course in Vancouver, Wash. This year's championships will be run at Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Mo. The women's 6K race will begin at 11:30 a.m.
