St. Ambrose named USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

USTFCCCA Cross Country Academic Awards

St. Ambrose was named an All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track &  Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The women's program had a cumulative team GPA of 3.613 and the men's team had a GPA of 3.381.

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.

Sophomore Kaitlyn Knoche was recognized by the USTFCCCA as an All-Academic Athlete. To qualify as an All-Academic Athlete, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 and qualify for the NAIA Championship meet. Knoche, a Mathematics and Secondary Education major, competed at back-to-back NAIA Cross Country National Championships for the Bees. She was the first SAU women's runner to compete at back-to-back nationals since Megan Grady and Michaela Pieroni raced at the 2019 and 2020 championships.
