Brown and Taaffe receive All-Conference honors

Two Bees earned All-Conference honors in the Heart of America Athletic Conference for the 2024-25 season. The league announced that Anabelle Brown and Abby Taaffe earned first-team honors.

Season ends in Heart Tournament semifinals

April 16, 2025

Wednesday night, the Bees traveled to Atchinson, Kan., to battle Benedictine College in the Heart Tournament semifinals. SAU scored early to make it a two-goal game, but could not keep up and dropped the contest 30-1 to the second-ranked team in the NAIA to end the Bees' season.

St. Ambrose wins Heart Tourney quarterfinal in OT

Saturday afternoon in Davenport, Iowa, the Bees hosted a Heart of America Conference Tournament quarterfinal match against Culver-Stockton. Despite trailing in the first half, St. Ambrose fought back to win 13-12 in an overtime thriller.

SAU to host Culver-Stockton in first round of Heart Tournament

St. Ambrose will open the Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament at home. Thanks to a fourth-place conference finish, SAU will host Culver-Stockton in a first-round matchup Saturday at St. Vincent's Athletic Complex.

Wednesday night in Davenport, Iowa, the Bees battled Missouri Valley College in a home conference game. St. Ambrose grabbed the early lead and exchanged goals throughout until pulling away for a 17-11 win.

St. Ambrose celebrates seniors against No. 2 Benedictine

Saturday afternoon in Davenport, Iowa, the Bees hosted their Senior Day against No. 2 Benedictine. Prior to the match, St. Ambrose honored its six seniors - Abby Messina, Anabelle Brown, Zoe Starkey, Sarah Diehl, Abby Taaffe, and Julieanna Hess.

St. Ambrose grabs home conference win

Saturday afternoon in Davenport, Iowa, the Bees battled Mount Mercy University. The Bees came off two conference losses prior, and looked to bounce back in this conference matchup. Despite the Bees' dominant play in the first half, they allowed the Mustangs to aim a comeback in the fourth, but it was too late as SAU solidified its 15-7 win.

Brown becomes program leader in career goals and points

Senior Anabelle Brown has moved to the top of the St. Ambrose career scoring chart this season. She is now the program's all-time leader in both goals and points.

Saturday afternoon, the Bees traveled to Ottawa, Kan., to take on Ottawa University. St. Ambrose, coming off a conference loss in Missouri, looked to pick up a conference win in this matchup but fell short with their fourth-quarter comeback losing the game 18-16.

Thursday afternoon, the Bees finished up their Spring Break trip in Livonia, Mich., taking on Madonna. With a dominant performance, St. Ambrose is headed back home with a 17-5 win.

St. Ambrose suffered a 5-15 loss to Bethel Saturday afternoon at St. Vincent's Athletic Complex, but rebounded today for a 23-5 win over newly added conference member, Midland University. This is the first win for SAU which moves the Bees to 1-2 on the season.
