Brunson named CCAC Offensive Player of the Week
Freshman Kaitlyn Brunson was tabbed as the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Offensive Player of the Week once again, the league announced on Tuesday. Brunson earned the honor after scoring the lone goal in St. Ambrose's 1-0 victory over Olivet Nazarene on November 5th. She scored in the 83rd minute to help SAU move to the CCAC tournament semifinals. The goal was her sixth of the season.
Brunson earned the weekly award for the first time in early October after netting goals in wins over Trinity Christian College and Holy Cross College.
