Brunson earns CCAC Offensive Player of the Week
Freshman Kaitlyn Brunson earned the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Bruson scored in both of St. Ambrose's victories last week. She netted the first goal of the game in the 2-1 upset victory over Trinity Christian College last Tuesday and scored the game-winner in SAU's 2-1 win over Holy Cross College on Saturday.
She has a total of three goals and three assists so far on the year.
With the two wins, St. Ambrose shares the top spot in the league standings with a 5-2 conference record. The Bees will take on the University of St. Francis (Ill.) - who sit at 5-1 in the conference - on Saturday in Joliet.
