
Wolter scores 1,000 career points as a junior
After Abby Wolter's made two-point jumper as one second remained on the clock in this afternoon's loss at Indiana South Bend, Wolter became the 36th member to score 1,000 career points in the history of St. Ambrose women's basketball. The 5-11 forward entered the game with 980 career points.
The Iowa native finished with a double-double, 20 points and 14 rebounds, at Indiana South Bend to sit at a perfect 1,000 career points. Those scores pushed her to 215 markers on the season.
Wolter has been a key contributor and leader for the St. Ambrose women's basketball team in the last three seasons. In her three-year career as a Bee, Wolter finished with a season-high and career-high 28 points when the Bees played Ohio Christian at the Trojan Classic on Dec. 17.
