St. Ambrose opens CCAC Tournament play as top seed
Last year, the Bees won their first CCAC regular-season championship for the first time since 2015 and now they have won it back-to-back in 2023 and 2024. St. Ambrose will now look ahead to the postseason battle.
SAU will have home-field advantage throughout the tournament as the higher seed hosts. Beginning on Wednesday, the Bees will host the V-Hawks of Viterbo University at St. Vincent's Athletic Complex in the quarterfinal match, starting at 7 p.m. Earlier this season, the Bees defeated Viterbo 2-0 at home.
Tickets throughout the tournament will be $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. SAU students will be admitted free with their Bee Card.
The Sisterhood of Bees will also be selling hot cocoa for $3 a cup at the concession stand while supplies last.
The CCAC Tournament will continue with the semifinal match being this Saturday and the championship match being held next Wednesday, Nov. 13.
