The Bees struck again with two outs in the third inning. Krus and Kylee Claypool had consecutive hits before Mady Reed ripped a three-run home run to put SAU in front 5-0.
Culver-Stockton got two of the runs back in the bottom of the third, but that would be it.

Four Bees had multi-hit games in the second contest of the day. Taylor Martyn and Reagan Engberg each had three and Krus and Haag had two apiece.

Haag had a two-run single and Reed added an RBI as part of a three-run third inning to push the advantage to 6-0. Haag added another RBI single and later scored in the fourth to end the scoring.
Leah Maro went all five innings allowing just two hits in the complete-game shutout.
St. Ambrose, now 10-4, will head to Florida for its Spring Break trip beginning Saturday.
