SAU places 12 on NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete list

2023-24 Daktronics NAIA Men's Track & Field Scholar-Athletes

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) placed 12 Bees on the 2023-24 Daktronics Men's Track & Field Scholar-Athlete list, announced on Tuesday morning by league officials. 

Alec Seifert, Anthony Woods, Ben Wilson, Bryan Flentge, Chris Miserendino, Hunter Kasap, Ian Eller, Joe Vollmer, Justin Bowers, Kale Cartee, Maxwell Stoos, and Nathan Boleyn were all represents of St. Ambrose.  

The 2024 list features 873 student-athletes that achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. To be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.

This week, the Bees will compete in the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Marion, Ind. Championships are set to take place May 22-24.
