Updates from the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

St. Ambrose is closing the year at the 2024 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships this week at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind.

After crowing a National Champion and three All-Americans at last year's outdoor championships, the Bees are sending another large group this year, led by Will Reemtsma, a two-time National Champion in the men's 400-meter hurdles. Reemtsma will be joined in the event by Ben Wilson. Jonah Wilson will compete in both the discus and shot put. Alec Seifert will also compete in the shot put while Payton Woods will compete in the hammer throw. Joshua Mottet is entered in the pole vault. SAU will also have its men's 4x800-meter relay team at Nationals.

The Bee women will be represented by Gabbi Butler and Annah Miller. Butler, an All-American in the 2023 400-meter dash, will race in both the 200- and 400-meter dashes. Miller, who was ninth in the shot put a year ago, returns in the event and will also throw the discus.
