Bees return to the pool at the Grinnell Invitational
Both the St. Ambrose men and women took third place at the two-day Grinnell Invitational Friday and Saturday in Grinnell, Iowa.
The women collected 671.5 team points to finish just three points behind second-place Nebraska Wesleyan (674.5). Grinnell had the top score among the 11 women's teams with 1388.5 points.
On the men's side, Grinnell won with a score of 1245.5. Augustana (994.5) was second and St. Ambrose (808) finished third among the nine men's teams.
The Bees had several finalists. A, B and C finals were competed.
St. Ambrose will host Augustana in a dual at the Davenport Central Natatorium on Jan. 31.
