St. Ambrose to host Judson in CCAC Quarterfinal

The defending CCAC Tournament champions earned the third seed in the 2022 CCAC Tournament by finishing 10-1-2 in the conference. St. Ambrose will host the sixth-seeded Judson Eagles at the St. Vincent's Athletic Complex on Saturday, November 5th at Noon.

Admission will be $7 for adults and $5 for children. SAU students, faculty, and staff will get in free by showing their St. Ambrose ID. 

The Bees defeated Judson in the regular-season 4-0 with two goals from Kaitlyn Brunson and goals from Haillee Wilson and Kendall Wendt

Offensively, SAU is led by Taylor DeSplinter, who has 19 goals on the year. Brunson has scored 13 and leads the team in assists with eight. Wilson is the other double-digit goal scorer for St. Ambrose with 10. Rachel Willette, Adriane Latham, Natalie Miller, Allie Govert, and Daniya El-Zein are the core for the Bees defensively. Brunson, Abigail Goff, and Mary Evans will look to control the midfield for St. Ambrose. 

For the Eagles, Alondra Blanco (15) and Kelly Leon (11) are the top goal scorers. Goalkeeper Morgan Olsen has made 60 saves on the year. 

In 2021, St. Ambrose defeated Olivet Nazarene, St. Francis (Ill.), and Trinity Christian to claim the tournament title.
