Preseason All-KCAC Women's Lacrosse Team

After a first team all-conference season a year ago, St. Ambrose junior Katie Baranski was named to the 2020 Preseason All-Conference Team by the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC).

Baranski, a junior from Chicago Heights, Ill., was one of three attackers named to the 11-player team.

She led St. Ambrose with 54 goals last season, finishing fourth in the conference and 16th in the entire NAIA in goals scored. Her mark of 4.5 goals per game was the ninth-best mark in the country. She scored at least three goals in nine of the Bees' 12 games and had seven games of at least five goals, including a season-high 10-goal performance in an 18-13 win at Asbury last March.

Baranski also recorded six assists, finishing with a team-best 60 points last year.

Baranski and the Bees will open the 2020 season on Feb. 26 at Quincy.
