St. Ambrose rolls past Waldorf 39-9

Thanks to eight wins, St. Ambrose rolled to a 39-9 dual victory over Waldorf Saturday night in Lee Lohman Arena. The Bees picked up bonus points at six weights.

SAU won the first five matches of the dual, which included a first-period pin from Mick Chagnon at 2:21 at 133 pounds. Riece Graham and Guiseppe Guerra each won via technical fall. Graham collected a 26-10 win in 5:53 at 125 pounds and Guerra needed 6:10 for his 20-2 win at 141 pounds.

Tate O'Shea followed with a 9-7 win at 149 pounds. Slade Dias upped the team lead to 22-0 with his 8-2 victory at 157 pounds.

At 174 pounds, Anthony Sartori pinned his opponent in 2:10. Dylan Meiners and Abdullah Razzak won by forfeit at 197 pounds and heavyweight, respectively.

In an exhibition match at 149 pounds, Josh Zeman earned an 11-5 decision.

The Bees, winners of four duals this season, will compete at home for the final time next Wednesday when St. Ambrose hosts Southeast Community College at 6 p.m.
