Program-record 10 Bees ranked in Heart poll
A program-record 10 Bees are ranked in the Heart of America Conference rankings announced Tuesday.
Leading the way is 2024 NAIA National Qualifier Diego Machado. The 157-pounder is ranked second in his weight class. Machado is off to an 8-2 start this season with his two losses coming to opponents from Northern Iowa and Minnesota State.
Dylan Meiners is the next highest ranked Bee. He is slotted fourth at 197 pounds.
Two-time NAIA qualifier Jayden Terronez is ranked fifth at 165 pounds. Two St. Ambrose wrestlers are ranked sixth. Guiseppe Guerra, with a 10-1 record, is sixth at 141 pounds, and Abdullah Razzak is rated the same at heavyweight.
Anthony Sartori checks in at seventh at 174 pounds. The final four ranked wrestlers are eighth at their respective weights - Mick Chagnon at 125 pounds; Reese Finch, currently 6-1, at 149 pounds; Colin O'Grady, already with six wins, at 184 pounds; and Jeremiah Morris at heavyweight.
