
SAU unable to keep pace with Judson
With the conference regular season winding down, St. Ambrose was unable to knock off Judson, a team receiving votes in the NAIA national poll, Thursday. The Eagles pulled out a 25-17, 25-19, 25-17 win.
The Bees struggled to get much going offensively, finishing with 24 kills and 24 hitting errors. Judson (23-3, 10-1 CCAC) recorded 36 kills.
Jason Bageanis led the team with seven kills. Mikolaj Zielonka, Nick Fox and Jeramie Gutierrez each had five kills.
Skyler Marushige had a team-best 12 assists. Richard Reed collected seven.
Jesse Moreno was credited with 10 digs.
St. Ambrose, now 9-16 overall and 4-8 in the conference, will host Cardinal Stritch next Tuesday at 7 p.m.
