Swarm of 23 Bees heading to NAIA Swimming and Diving Championships

St. Ambrose will be well represented as the 2022 NAIA Women's Swimming & Diving National Championships get underway Wednesday in Columbus, Ga.
Leading the way for the Bees will be six-time National Champion Andrea Adam, who returns after winning national titles in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Other SAU women competing will be Bethany Anderson, Leyre Antonanzas, Molly Duehr, Emily Hartman, Marin Powell, Rylie Steinkamp, Amber Warak and Lauren Williams.
On the men's side, 14 different Bees will enter the pool - Gabe Carlson, Victor Del Rio Foces, Leo Edwards, Juan Gomez, Mikhi Hassim, Rais Hassim, Caleb Heiar, Ryan Joehl, Brett Jones, Petter Kolaas, Grant Nelson, Zac Robinson, Quincy Walker and Ryan Warrick.
The St. Ambrose men are currently ranked No. 4 in the NAIA while the women will enter the championships ranked No. 10.
