
Hahn named Heart Co-Defensive Player of the Year; Campbell to 2nd team all-conference

Two Bees earned All-Conference honors in the Heart of America Athletic Conference for the 2024-25 season. The league announced that Eli Hahn was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year and to the first team all-conference. Joe Campbell earned second team all-conference honors.
Hahn, a sophomore from Eureka, Ill., was named first team long stick midfielder and Co-Defensive Player of the Year. He led the team in ground balls (92) and caused turnovers (46). He had a game high of 16 ground balls on April 12 against Midland. This season, Hahn earned Defensive Player of the Week honors for April 15. He had four separate games with five caused turnovers. He also had 15 goals, 9 assists, and took 22 faceoffs for the Bees. Hahn earned LSM second team honors in 2024. He is studying Sport Management.
Campbell, a graduate student from Fruita, Colo., was named a second team defender. He recorded 48 ground balls and 29 caused turnovers this season. Campbell had a game high of 7 ground balls twice this season, against Madonna on February 23 and William Woods on March 19. Also in the matchup with William Woods, he had 6 caused turnovers. Campbell was the only Bee to start in every game this season.
