Hayes named KCAC Defensive Player of the Week
WICHITA, Kan. - Brandon DeMarco of (RV) Ottawa University and Nolan Hayes of #9 St. Ambrose University have earned the KCAC Men's Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Tuesday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from March 1-7 by a vote of conference sports information directors.
Hayes had a total of 39 saves throughout the week, as the Bees went 3-0 defeating (RV) William Penn, Taylor (Ind.), and #8 Aquinas (Mich.). He stopped 16 shots in the win against William Penn and had 15 saves against #8 Aquinas.
