St. Ambrose men's golf coach Jeff Griebel and SAU golf alumni Andrew Tichler '18, Bobby Wolfe '17 and Spencer Jones '16 teamed to with the 24th annual Swing Into Education Golf Tournament at Duck Creek Golf Course in Davenport Friday.

The Fighting Bees team shot a 15-under 55 to win the tournament for the 12th straight year. Along with winning the College/University Division, the team placed second overall in the Men's Division.

The annual tournament, sponsored by the non-profit QC United, raises money for scholarships for local high school students to attend local colleges in the Quad-City area. QC United's mission is to promote education, scholarship and anti-bullying in area schools. Organizers of the tournament announced more than $200,000 has been raised for college scholarships since the tournament started in 2001. Many of these scholarship recipients have attended St. Ambrose University through the years.
