Spurgetis named CCAC Golfer of the Week for second time
CHICAGO --- St. Ambrose University's Eric Spurgetis (Moline, Ill.) has gained his second Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week award, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Spurgetis placed seventh in a field of 102 golfers at the Mount Mercy University (Iowa) Spring Invitational this past Thursday. The senior shot a one-over-par 73 on the course that day to gain the league recognition.
As a team, St. Ambrose placed fifth in a field of 18.
