CHICAGO --- For the second time in the past three weeks, St. Ambrose University's Mick Haverland (Geneseo, Ill.) has been named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday morning.

Haverland collected the recognition this time around by registering three sub-80 rounds. The first one – a 78 – helped the Fighting Bees capture the 14-team Clarke University (Iowa) Spring Invitational last Tuesday. Individually, Haverland placed 15th among 77 golfers.

The senior followed that effort up with round of 77 and 70 on Friday and Saturday to finish seventh among 96 golfers at the TPC Deere Run Invitational. The latter round was one-under-par, while the two-day 147 total put him at just five-over-par.

As a team, St. Ambrose finished the second meet in fifth place among 19 squads.
