Haverland named CCAC Golfer of the Week
CHICAGO --- Shooting under par for the seven-day period ending March 27, St. Ambrose University's Mick Haverland (Geneseo, Ill.) has been named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Haverland shot a one-under-par 71 at the Spring Break Triangular out in Arizona on Friday. That placed the senior second in a field of 18 golfers at the meet and just one stroke behind the tournament medalist.
As a team, St. Ambrose placed third in the event.
