Jake Meeske drew the early spotlight and his backcourt mate hit some big shots late as the Bees moved to 4-0 in the CCAC with an 82-73 win over Trinity International Saturday afternoon.

Meeske became just the 49th player in program history to score 1,000 career points when he hit the milestone in the game's opening minutes. Then down the stretch, Dylan Kaczmarek knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers as part of his career-high 15-point afternoon to seal the win.

Meeske's milestone basket came as part of a hot start for the Bees. With St. Ambrose already leading 7-0, the senior guard drove inside and scored to give him 1,001 career points. Kaczmarek followed with a jumper to give SAU a fast 13-0 lead.
