The SAU Cheer and Dance Teams each rolled to another regular-season competition title Saturday. The Cheer Team defeated Aquinas while the Dance Team defeated three other programs at the Saints Showdown in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The SAU Cheer Team posted a score of 92.67 to easily outdistance the host school. Aquinas finished with a score of 65.61.

Competing for St. Ambrose were Ava Arnold, JP Elder, Chloe Fulcher, Graysen Gerlinger, Sydnee Horstman, Savanah Metzger, Patrick Nauman, Alyssa Oczko, Taye Owten, Reese Puleo, Rachel Ruplinger, Ryan Russo, Savannah Schumacher, Will Smith, Layla Taylor, Brady Teel and RJ Woods. Devyn George, Mikal Honeycutt, Jesse Lopez and Regan Tucker were the alternates.

The SAU Dance Team was the only team to break 90 points, finishing with a score of 93.37. Aquinas was second with an 86.43 while Madonna and Indiana Tech rounded out the field.

Maddy Barnes, Lilly Bonnet, Lexi Crook, Shea Denahy, Sara Gundacker, Grace Harms, Josie Kaffenberger, Karli Langley, Sydnie Offermann, Emma Schoonover, Grace Sheldon and Leah Zeimet competed for the Bees. Alternates were Karsyn Kuffler, Josephine Lai, Evie Miller and Kyla Shaw.

Both teams will now focus on the postseason, beginning with the AMC Championships Friday and Saturday in Columbia, Mo.
