Knoche named CCAC Runner of the Week for second time
CHICAGO --- Earning a Top 15 percent finish during competition in the seven-day period between Oct. 2-8, St. Ambrose University's Kaitlyn Knoche (Donahue, Iowa) used that performance to land Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week recognition for the second time this season on Wednesday morning.
The freshman harrier registered a collegiate personal record with her time of 19:38 on the 5K course at the Bethel University (Ind.) Invitational on Friday. That placed her 21st in a field of 157 runners.
As a team, St. Ambrose finished 10th among 14 squads at the event.
