Knoche named CCAC Runner of the Week
A first-place finish in her collegiate debut earned St. Ambrose University's Kaitlyn Knoche Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors, it was announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.
Knoche captured her team's own Fighting Bee Invitational on Saturday, besting 38 other runners over the 5K distance. The freshman finished the course in 19 minutes, 45 seconds.
St. Ambrose won the four-team meet by scoring 34 points.
