NAIA Women's Volleyball Championship pool play schedule

St. Ambrose was grouped with No. 1 Northwestern (Iowa) and Bellevue (Neb.) as pool play assignments were announced for the NAIA Women's Volleyball Championship.

The Bees will face Northwestern, the nation's top-ranked team, Nov. 29 at 10 a.m. before facing Bellevue the next day, also at 10 a.m. Northwestern and Bellevue will play Dec. 1. All matches will be played at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

The top team in each of the eight pools will advance to the quarterfinals of the single-elimination national tournament starting Dec. 2.

This is the first time St. Ambrose has advanced to the final site since the 2010 season. The Bees qualified by defeating No. 16 College of Saint Mary 31-29, 30-28, 18-25, 20-25, 15-12 in Omaha, Neb., Saturday.

SAU will enter pool play with a 20-14 record and riding an eight-match winning streak.
