St. Ambrose lost their first Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference match Tuesday evening at Judson. The Bees fell 26-24, 20-25, 22-25, 22-25 to the Eagles.
After taking the first set with a .229 hitting percentage, SAU struggled in the next three.
Mackenzie Grafton (13), Meredith Umland (11), and Meredith Siebers (10) combined for 34 of St. Ambrose's 41 kills. Siebers also recorded 10 digs. Lexi Huntley picked up 17, and Grafton had eight. Hannah Sondag was credited with 37 assists. Audrey Witte and Macy Wakins each had three service aces.
