Jill Kavalauskas was one of 14 players named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Mideast Region Team. The group was selected by the NAIA Selection Committee.

The award caps a career that saw Kavalauskas become the first Bee since 2012 to earn first team all-conference honors three times. She put down 406 kills this season, becoming just the 10th SAU player to top 400 kills in a season since 2000, while hitting at a .225 clip to earn first team all-CCAC recognition. The outside hitter from Chicago also recorded 44 aces, 238 digs and 43 total blocks this season.

Kavalauskas finished her four-year St. Ambrose career with 1302 kills.

Teammate Meredith Siebers earned AVCA All-Mideast honorable mention. The junior from Quincy, Ill., collected 215 kills while hitting .233 to join Kavalauskas on the all-CCAC first team this season.

The two helped lead St. Ambrose to second place in the conference and the program's first appearance in the NAIA Championship Opening Round since the 2010 season. SAU finished the year with a 24-10 record.
