Siebers named CCAC Attacker of the Week

CHICAGO --- Saint Xavier University's Kaleigh Ritter (Tinley Park, Ill.) and Trinity International University's Jaylyn Freeman (Athens, Ala.) have returned to the awards stand, while St. Ambrose University's Meredith Siebers (Quincy, Ill.) makes her first appearance following the announcement of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball Players of the Week by the league office on Wednesday morning.

Siebers collected CCAC Attacker of the Week recognition after hitting at a .417 clip and registering double-digit kill totals in all three of her matches played last week. The junior outside hitter opened with ten kills in a three-set win over Judson University last Tuesday before notching back-to-back 15-kill contests in four-set victories over Hannibal-LaGrange University (Mo.) on Thursday and Cardinal Stritch University on Saturday.

For the week, Siebers averaged 4.0 kills, 1.1 digs and 0.3 blocks per set over the three matches. For the season, she ranks fifth in the league in hitting percentage at .255.

St. Ambrose is 21-8 overall and 12-3 in conference play.
