Bio

Dan Zeimet serves as an assistant coach for the men's and women's track & field teams, working primarily with the long sprint crew.

He has made his mark with the Fighting Bee track & field program working with several All-Americans and national qualifiers through the years.

Zeimet, a '91 BA, '96 MBA alum, ran both track and cross country for four years for the Fighting Bees and was a two-time cross country national qualifier. He was inducted into the St. Ambrose Athletic Hall of Fame in 2000. He previously served as the head coach of the St. Ambrose cross country teams from 2003-18, earning conference coach of the year honors 11 times.

Zeimet also serves as the University Registrar. Dan and his wife, Melissa, reside in Davenport.
