Miller named Outstanding Field Performer at CCAC Championships
Annah Miller was named the Women's Outstanding Field Event Performer at the CCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships competed Friday and Saturday in Joliet, Ill.
Miller, a senior from Manito, Ill., earned points in all three of her events to help St. Ambrose finish as the conference runner-up.
She won the women's shot put with a school-record throw of 14.76 meters. That is the third-best mark in the NAIA this season.
Miller also finished second in the discus with a toss of 43.37 meters and sixth in the hammer throw with a mark of 43.46 meters. She is currently ranked fourth in the country in the discus.
In all, Miller totaled 21 points for the Bees.
