CHICAGO --- First-place finishes from St. Ambrose University's Mick Saloninas (Downers Grove, Ill.) and Annah Miller (Manito, Ill.) have earned the pair Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Field weekly honors, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Saloninas claimed the CCAC Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week accord for the second week in a row after winning both the shot put and discus events at St. Ambrose's own Easter Weekend Meet last Wednesday. The senior improved on his "A" standard mark in the shot put with his conference-leading throw of 53 feet, 1.75 inches to best 15 other challengers.

He also won the discus event, out-performing 17 other competitors with his distance of 158-8.

Miller notched her second straight CCAC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week award by claiming individual titles in the shot put and discus events at the Easter Weekend Meet. The junior set a new personal record in the latter event with her throw of 143 feet, 8 inches, which met the NAIA "B" standard. A total of 12 individuals made up the field in that competition.

In the shot put, she beat out 10 other challengers to win with an "A" standard distance of 44-10.75.
