Pieroni named to CSC Academic All-America Team

Michaela Pieroni was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Team. She was one of 17 student-athletes named to the NAIA first team.
SAU represented on Academic All-District Cross Country/Track & Field Teams

A total of nine Bees were named to the 2022-23 Academic All-District Track & Field/Cross Country Teams as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). Luke Benes, Kale Cartee, Hunter Kasap, Noah Maske and Alec Seifert were named to the men's team, and Gabbi Butler, Jadie Knecht, Katie Lambrecht and Michaela Pieroni were selected to the women's team.
National Champion, three All-Americans and school record set at Outdoor Championships

Will Reemtsma defended his National Championship in the 400-meter hurdles and was one of three Bees crowned an All-American as St. Ambrose finished its season at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Marion, Ind.
Twenty-one Bees named Track & Field Scholar-Athletes

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Men's and Women's Track & Field Scholar-Athletes. There were nearly 1,900 student-athletes named to the teams, including 21 Fighting Bees. Luke Benes, Nathan Boleyn, Kale Cartee, Bryan Flentge, Hunter Kasap, Noah Maske, Alec Seifert, Ben Wilson and Anthony Woods were named to the men's team. Madi Blumhoff, Gabbi Butler, Anna Dunne, Jayne Eilderts, Megan Jansett, Jadie Knecht, Katie Lambrecht, Lily Olsen, Anna Pierce, Michaela Pieroni, Tara Ryan and Olivia Sobieszczyk were selected to the women's team.

CHICAGO --- NAIA "A" standard marks recorded by Annah Miller (Manito, Ill.), Nolan Rudd (Greendale, Wis.) and Mick Saloninas (Downers Grove, Ill.) enabled St. Ambrose University to claim three of the final Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week awards for 2023, the league office announced on Thursday.

St. Ambrose sent a large contingent to the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa. Another group of Bees competed at the Kip Janvrin Open in Indianola, Iowa.

The St. Ambrose throwers led the way at the Augustana Meet of Champions Friday and Saturday in Rock Island, Ill. The Bee men finished fifth and the women were 11th in an event featuring 27 teams.
