CHICAGO --- All ten schools sponsoring women's track & field earned at least two spots on the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference all-academic team, which was announced on Wednesday, with four of those teams boasting no less than 11 individuals and another school just missing the cut for double-figure recipients.

Garnering the most all-academic performers was St. Ambrose University with a total of 22, with University of St. Francis next in line with 17. Trinity Christian College and Olivet Nazarene University also made the double-figure club with 12 and 11 awardees, respectively. Just missing that club was Saint Xavier University with nine recipients and Judson University with eight.

The 22 Bees named to the team were Allisyn Blaser, Abby Camp, MacKenzie Clary, Carrington Curphy, Alissa DeShane, Claire Duncan, Emma Duncan, Megan Grady, Hana Hart, Mickey Hayes, Lani Hillard, Megan Jansett, Lauren Lamourt, Felica McCroy, Jessica Mendenhall, Teagan Pantenburg, Mallory Rettenmeier, Kristina Shelman, Sarah Smith, Sara Stockdale, Kelsey Weatherford and Maddy Youngers.

Also gaining representation were Cardinal Stritch University (six individuals), Calumet College of St. Joseph (four), Robert Morris University Illinois (three) and Roosevelt University (two).

Better than ten percent (10 total) of the 94 individuals recognized turned in clean sheets (perfect 4.00 cumulative grade point averages) with 42 returning to the squad from one year ago. Of those on the latter list, 18 made the team for the third year in a row.

To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must have been enrolled at her respective CCAC school for a minimum of one academic year, have completed at least 30 semester hours and boast no less than a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
