SAU has eight named NAIA Scholar-Athletes
NAIA women's tennis Scholar-Athletes
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2022-23 Daktronics NAIA Tennis Scholar-Athletes. More than 550 student-athletes were recognized, including eight Fighting Bees.
Connor Leibforth, Brian Lelm and Bennet Piotrowski were the three Bees to make the men's team. Paige Bily, Kaylee Camp, Hayley Hoffman, Audrey Pender and Maggie Sullivan were the five SAU women's tennis players named to the team.
In order to be nominated by an institution's sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
