Junior Kaitlyn Brunson earned recognition for her efforts in the classroom and on the pitch when she was named to the NAIA Women's Soccer Academic All-America Team as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). Brunson was one of 12 student-athletes named to the first team.

The honor recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Nominees must be starters or important reserves, sophomores or older, with at least 3.50 cumulative grade point averages.

Brunson, from Marion, Iowa, earned NAIA Third Team All-American honors after being named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Player of the Year. She led the conference with 16 goals and 37 points. A two-time first team all-CCAC selection, Brunson scored six game-winning goals this season in leading St. Ambrose to CCAC regular season and tournament championships. The Bees qualified for the NAIA National Tournament for the first time since 2021.

Off the field, Brunson carries a 3.83 GPA while majoring in Marketing and Management.
