St. Ambrose won its opening CCAC Conference Tournament game Friday night in Davenport. SAU scored one goal in each half in their 2-1 quarterfinal win over Roosevelt. With the win, the Bees set a program record with their 10th straight victory.

In the first half, SAU had a majority of the possession and also had a majority of the shots on target. In the 41st minute, Kaitlyn Brunson scored off of a Taylor DeSplinter assist to open the scoring. The Bees would carry that 1-0 lead into halftime.

Just over 10 minutes into the second half, DeSplinter scored off a Haillee Wilson assist to make it a 2-0 lead. Roosevelt scored with 15 minutes left, but the Bees held on for the 2-1 victory.
