DeSplinter scores game-winner, Bees get comeback win over Wildcats

Down 2-0 in the first 13 minutes, St. Ambrose women's soccer mounted a comeback, and Taylor DeSplinter garnered the winner to give SAU a 3-2 win over Culver-Stockton Saturday evening in Muscatine, Iowa.

The visitors struck early, scoring in the first minute for a 1-0 lead. Kaitlyn Brunson and Mary Evans had two shots each after the Culver-Stockton goal, but all missed the mark. The Wildcats scored again in the 13th minute to take a 2-0 lead early on, but SAU responded three minutes later when Adriane Latham found Kendall Wendt for a goal. The Bees tied it up at 2-2 in the 23rd minute off a score from Lauren Bendall, and the teams would head into halftime even.

Rachel Willette kept the game tied after making a save in the 64th minute and another in the 68th.
