Brunson earns CCAC Offensive Player of the Week honors
Kaitlyn Brunson's first-half hat trick against Roosevelt earned the sophomore Offensive Player of the Week honors the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced on Tuesday.
In SAU's only game of the week, Brunson netted three goals in the first 23 minutes of the match, helping the Bees to a 6-1 win over the Lakers. St. Ambrose is currently undefeated in conference play.
Brunson's three goals in the game give her five for the season, which is tied for ninth in the conference. Brunson has started all eight matches for St. Ambrose.
