Lauren Hoesly earns top spot as all-time points leader

Hoesly scored five goals and tacked on four assists in her team's 22-7 victory at Mount Mercy on Saturday afternoon. These combined nine points put her atop as the career points leader for St. Ambrose women's lacrosse. She stands at 150 all-time career points with more opportunities to elevate that number. She has scored 56 goals and tabbed 94 assists all time. This career accomplished wasn't the only one this season. Hoesly tabbed Heart of America Offensive Player of the Week in women's lacrosse. Lauren Hoesly, a graduate student from Oconomowoc, Wis., has been a five seasoned veteran for the St. Ambrose women's lacrosse team. In her time as a Bee she has appeared in 49 games with her first season being cut short due to COVID-19. Of those 49 games, Hoesly has started 34 games in her tenure.

The attacker also holds numerous other SAU records. She is tied for second in single game assists with five coming vs. Clarke on 3/28/2023 and another five almost a year later vs. Saint Mary on 3/23/2024. She tabbed five assists vs. Midland on 4/17/2021 and five at. Saint Mary on 4/11/2021. She holds the top three spots in single season assists. With 31 assists in the 2021 season, good for the top spot. She had 25 assists in 2022 which holds the second-place spot and 20 assists in 2023 which is good for the third-place award. She is the right-out career record holder in assists with 76 assists before the 2024 season. Currently she holds 94 assists in her career.  

In her career as a Bee, Hoesly has been a member of a team that was RV while elevating to the ninth and tenth spot in the NAIA Coaches' Poll.
