Three Bees capture the 100 career points milestone

 Three Bees across both the men's and women's lacrosse programs at St. Ambrose University have rolled past a huge milestone. In their time at St. Ambrose, all have captured 100 career points between goals and assists. One women's lacrosse player in Anabelle Brown and two men's lacrosse players in Makaile Shaddix and Isaiah Hahn.

Anabelle Brown, a junior, from the women's lacrosse team currently sits at 116 career points. The 5-8, attacker from El Dorado Hills, Calif. has scored 75 goals and collected 41 assists so far in a Bee uniform. She has tabbed Second Team All-Conference honors in 2023 while capturing the Heart Offensive Player of the Week this season. She currently sits second all-time in single game goals scored with eight in one game. Brown also sits in second for single game assists. This feat coming with five assists at Midland in 2022. Brown holds the all-time record in single season draw controls with 84 throughout the 22-23 season. She is second all-time in career assists with 41 throughout her three seasons as a Bee.

Makaile Shaddix, a senior from Sacramento, Calif. reached his 100-career points mark recently vs Mount Vernon Nazarene University. He accomplished this feat at the Bees most recent home game. The 5-9, attacker scored four goals while tallying one assist to capture the milestone. Overall, Shaddix has scored 74 goals and collected 27 assists throughout his time as a Bee. To add to his accolades, the Sacramento, Calif. native has tabbed the Heart Offensive Player of the Week this season. Shaddix has also been named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete.

Isaiah Hahn, a Washington Community native currently has 103 career points as a senior. The 6-0, attacker/midfielder has tabbed 60 goals and 43 assists so far in a Bee uniform. The four-year player has gotten minutes in 55 contests so far throughout his career. Currently, Hahn sits at 17 goals and 9 assists on the season which is good for 26 points. He is on track to smash his 20-goal season from last year. Hahn has been a dominant force and played in all contests this season. He has also scored in every game this season for the Bees.

The women's lacrosse team next travels to conference foe Mount Mercy this Sat. First draw is slated for 2 p.m.

The men's lacrosse team next hosts conference foe William Penn. WPU is ranked fourth in the NAIA polls. Faceoff is slated for Apr. 6 at 11 a.m., with the women's conference game to follow.
