Teammates Anabelle Brown and Sophie McPeek collect the Heart of America Conference players of the week. Brown was named the offensive player of the week with McPeek earning defensive player of the week. Both players earn these awards by having two monstrous performances going 2-0 for the week. The Bees opened their week hosting University of Wisconsin-Stout, earning a 19-5 decision. Then, (RV) St. Ambrose opened Heart conference play vs. Missouri Valley dominating 23-8.

Brown, a junior from El Dorado Hills, Calif. scored 11 goals in the week and earned four assists for 15 points total. With these totals, she has tabbed more than 100 career points only as a junior. She also gathered 14 draw controls, 11 alone vs. Wisconsin-Stout.

McPeek, a senior from Tulsa, Okla. collected 12 ground balls and one goal to earn the weekly award. She also gathered three caused turnovers. McPeek's performance helped the St. Ambrose defense, who only conceded 13 goals on the week. She has also been a familiar face for the Bees, having started all games this season for her team.

SAU will next match up with College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Ill. on Wed. The game is slated for 2 p.m.
