Samson earns Defensive Player of the Week
Heart of America Conference Release
Maggie Samson was named the Heart of America Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced.
Samson helped SAU go 2-0 on the week, defeating Marian 13-12 in overtime, and Division III Franklin College, 18-6.
In the victory over Marian, Samson made two huge saves in the final two minutes to keep St. Ambrose in the game. She recorded 13 saves on the night. Samson made two saves in twenty minutes against Franklin College.
The Bees will travel to Florida for three contests, begining with Ave Maria on Monday, March 20th.
