Behind top-10 finishes of Katherine Speer and Amara Lytle, St. Ambrose took fourth at the 12-team Klocke Family Classic played at Hunters Ridge Golf Course in Marion, Iowa, Saturday and Sunday.

Speer led the Bees, posting the team's best two rounds of the tournament. She opened with an 83 than backed that up with an 84 to finish alone in seventh with a 167. Lytle tied for ninth overall. She fired rounds of 86 and 85 for her 171.

Kara Williams shot a 176 after rounds of 85 and 91 to finish 16th. Leah Sullivan was 21st with a 182 (90-92) and Audrey McAleer was 35th with a 195 (97-98).

SAU shot a 344 in the first round before settling for a 352 Sunday. The 696 was good for fourth place.

Mount Mercy won the event with a 668 (314-354). Park's Laetitia Solombrino was the individual medalist with a 9-over 153 (75-78).

St. Ambrose will next compete in the Bill Johnson Fall Invitational at Kankakee Elks in Kankakee, Ill., Friday and Saturday.
